Working from 11 pm - 4 am Creative Time 4 Me

A few days of 80+F weather has me indoors writing research papers. Good timing giving school starts soon and students will be back.

Before school starts, we'll be going to MI to sit on the beach and party with family - another wedding coming. That leaves another at the end of Sept and one in Dec. People from outside the U.S will be together - it's been along time.

Today is Monday, and everyone works on Monday - DAVE

the time of my post was 1:35 a.m. why does the blog indicate 10:35 -- perhaps Pacific time?

Walking after midnight

After midnight I left my house to walk next door to visit with my neighbor. It was almost completely dark and almost completely quiet. I felt calm, young and good. Fond memories of the nighttime came back to me. I thought of how thankful I am that I live in such a safe neighborhood, especially when all hear and read in the news is that crime is on the rise. Then I remembered - we are what we think about. I love the late night and early mornings. The times before the "workings" of the "day" start. At my most enter self that is what I am, safe and calm.

Finally posting again 8/4/09

Much has happened since June. A wedding, birthday and extended family celebrations. Gaining 3 pounds, needing a hair cut and spending time with family and friends. Getting ready for another wedding. This time on Mackinac Island, MI. A 2 day trip up and back with 3 days on the island. Jam-packed schedule along with 69 others. Can you say PARTY.

Looking forward to dropping 5 pounds, to down time and painting at the lake and relaxing and gelin' out.

Making the load lighter with a yard sale. Finally cleaning out the garage and getting rid of unneeded/unwanted baggage. If it doesn't sell, it goes to charity. The extra cash will be nice for a few dinners out. The freed space will help to put the house on the market!

Getting down to one property will be nice, freeing.

New goals to be set soon.
